In June 2002 liftshare was awarded 'The UK eWell-Being Award for Transport'. The Awards were developed by SustainIT and sponsored by BT and the Local Government Association. Adrian Hosford, Director of Social Policy at BT said:
"liftshare's innovative use of technology to benefit the environment is fantastic and we congratulate them on the award."
Since then the liftshare team and the services we provide have received several national awards for our contribution to society and the environment including the 2005 BUPA Commitment to the Community Award, the 2004 Microsoft Innovation through Technology Award, the 2004 Business in the Community National Award for excellence, TfL’s innovation award 2004, The EDP Environment Award 2003 and the UK eWell-Being Awards 2002.
Ali Clabburn, Managing Director, won the Daily Mail Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2005 and the Institute of Logistics and Transport Young Manager Award 2002.
